Cathy Ridenour

Director of Operations

Born in Chicago, Cathy received her undergraduate degree at Illinois State University and later received an M.A. degree in education at San Jose State University. In 1968, she moved to the Monterey Peninsula where she worked as an elementary school teacher and later became principal of a K-12 elementary school. Twelve years later she decided it was time to try something completely new. Seeking an opportunity to broaden her scope past the field of education, Cathy worked as an insurance salesman for Prudential insurance, a job which required learning computer skills. She soon discovered that she really enjoyed working with computers, an interest that led to her next career. She then began working at Computer Plus specializing in sales and high-tech support.

In 1991, Cathy took an opportunity in sales operations at Apple Computer. She later became a business development executive and a program manager. One of the highlights of her career at Apple includes designing the Apple Online Store for educational related consumers as well as schools.

Cathy is another great asset to the Milroy team and continues to strive in her role within the organization.
